Aino Home Shipping Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This policy applies to orders placed at ainohome.fi, operated by Tanalog Oy (Y-tunnus: 3514523-4, Lutherinkatu 2 B 13, 00100 Helsinki, Finland). By placing an order you accept the terms below. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy.
Where We Ship
We deliver to Finland (excluding Åland unless stated at checkout) and to all EU member states listed at checkout. We do not currently ship outside the EU.
Where Our Products Ship From
Aino Home is a curated store. Most products are shipped to you directly from our partner warehouses in China. Some products are shipped from stock within the EU or Finland; the shipping origin and estimated delivery range are shown on each product page and at checkout.
Because of the distance involved, delivery from China takes longer than from a Finnish store. Please read the delivery estimates carefully before ordering.
EU Responsible Economic Operator: In accordance with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, products sold through Aino Home have a responsible economic operator established in the EU. The name and contact details of the responsible economic operator are available on each product page and in your order confirmation .
Prices Include All Duties and Taxes
All prices shown at ainohome.fi include Finnish value added tax (or the VAT of your EU delivery country) and all EU customs duties. We handle customs clearance through the EU Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) for consignments with a value of €150 or less. You will never be asked to pay customs duty, import VAT or a customs handling fee on delivery for IOSS-covered orders .
For consignments exceeding €150, standard import procedures apply. We will contact you before shipping to confirm any applicable charges.
If a carrier ever asks you to pay a fee before releasing an order from us, do not pay it; contact us at info@ainohome.fi and we will resolve it.
Order Processing
Orders are confirmed by email immediately. Orders are handed to the carrier within 1–3 working days of payment. Orders placed on weekends or Finnish public holidays are processed on the next working day. Processing time is included in the delivery estimates below.
Shipping Options, Rates and Delivery Estimates
Delivery estimates are in working days (Monday to Friday) and count from the moment the order is placed. They are estimates, not guarantees.
Finland
| Delivery Method | Estimated Delivery | Price | Free Shipping |
| Standard delivery to a Posti or Matkahuolto pick-up point or parcel locker (products shipped from China) | 8–15 working days | €4.90 | Orders of €59 or more |
| Standard delivery to a pick-up point or parcel locker (products shipped from EU or Finnish stock) | 2–5 working days | €4.90 | Orders of €59 or more |
| Express delivery by courier [DHL Express / UPS] (available for orders of €80 or more) | 4–7 working days | €19.90 | Not available |
Small items may be delivered as a letter directly to your letterbox instead of a pick-up point.
EU Countries
| Zone | Countries | Estimated Delivery | Price | Free Shipping |
| Zone 1 | Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Poland | 7–12 working days | €5.90 | Orders of €69 or more |
| Zone 2 | Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Portugal, Czechia and all other EU member states | 10–18 working days | €6.90 | Orders of €79 or more |
| Express (all EU) | Courier delivery [DHL Express / UPS], orders of €80 or more | 4–7 working days | €24.90 | Not available |
The free-shipping threshold is calculated on the order value including VAT but after discounts. EU delivery is to your door or to the local carrier's pick-up point, depending on the destination country.
Orders Containing Products from Several Origins
If your order contains products shipped from different locations, it may arrive in more than one parcel on different days. You pay shipping only once. Each parcel has its own tracking number.
Tracking
Every order is tracked. You will receive a tracking link by email and SMS when the order ships. Tracking may show no movement for several days while the parcel is in international transit or customs; this is normal. Once the parcel is in Finland, tracking continues at posti.fi or matkahuolto.fi. Once it is with the carrier in your EU country, tracking continues on that carrier's site.
Collecting Your Parcel
Parcels delivered to a Posti pick-up point or parcel locker are held for 5 days from arrival; Posti sends a notification with the last collection date, and you can buy extra storage time in the OmaPosti app. Matkahuolto and EU carriers have their own holding periods, stated in their notifications.
If you do not collect your parcel in time, it is returned to us. We refund the product price minus the original shipping charge and a [€9.90] return-handling fee, or we can reship the order at the standard shipping rate.
Important: Simply not collecting a parcel is not a valid cancellation under the 14-day right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us a separate notice of cancellation (see our Returns and Refund Policy) . If you notify us of your withdrawal before the parcel is returned to us, the standard withdrawal procedure applies, and the uncollected-parcel handling fee will not be charged.
Delivery Address and Changes
Please check your address and phone number carefully at checkout; the phone number is required for pick-up point notifications. Because orders are handed to partner warehouses quickly, an address can be changed only if you contact us within [12] hours of ordering. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address given by the customer, and reshipping in such cases is charged at the standard rate.
Delays
The estimates above cover the large majority of orders, but international deliveries can be delayed by customs inspections, weather, peak seasons (November–January and Chinese New Year in late January or February) and carrier disruptions. If your order has not arrived within the upper end of the estimated range, contact us and we will trace it.
Under EU consumer law, if no specific delivery time has been agreed, we must deliver within 30 days of the contract. Where we have provided an estimated delivery range at checkout, that range constitutes the agreed time for the purposes of this provision. If we cannot deliver within the agreed estimate plus a reasonable additional period, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund, including any shipping paid .
Lost or Damaged Parcels
The risk of loss or damage in transit remains with Aino Home until you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically take possession of the goods. For pick-up point deliveries, this means the moment you collect the parcel from the Posti or Matkahuolto point .
If tracking shows no progress for 10 working days after the estimated delivery window has passed, we treat the parcel as lost and will reship or refund at your choice. If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and the product before discarding anything and contact us within 7 days of delivery; we will send a replacement or refund without requiring you to return the damaged item unless we ask for it.
Returns and Right of Withdrawal
You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal starting from the day you receive the goods. Returns are sent to our return address in Finland, [return address], never to the original warehouse abroad.
Return shipping costs: You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods, unless we have agreed otherwise. The full procedure is described in our Returns and Refund Policy.
Hygiene-sealed items: Opened pet feeding and grooming items that are sealed for hygiene reasons are excluded from the right of withdrawal, provided the seal has been broken after delivery.
